1. About This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how QuotesDone Technologies (DET Dubai Trader License No. 1633275) uses cookies and similar technologies on the QuotesDone platform. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and tags that perform comparable functions.

Where cookies collect or relate to personal data, we handle that data in accordance with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL). This policy tells you which cookies we use, why, and how you can control them. By using the platform after being shown our cookie notice, and where required after giving consent, you agree to the use of cookies as described here.

2. Cookies We Use

We use the following categories:

• Essential and session cookies: necessary to run the platform, keep you signed in, remember your request as you build it, and enable core features such as paid reveals. The platform cannot function properly without these.
• Security cookies: help us verify sessions, support OTP-based mobile verification, detect fraud and protect the platform and your account.
• First-visit link tags (local storage, not a cookie; key qd-first-touch): when you first arrive through one of our own links, the campaign tags in that link (for example utm_source=linkedin and the name of the post), the page you landed on and when you arrived. It holds no identifier and nothing about you, and it never leaves your device unless you register as a supplier, when it is sent with your registration so that we know which post brought you. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.

We set no analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to sell your data. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated and your consent asked for before any such cookie is set.

3. Consent Approach

Our approach to cookie consent is consistent with the PDPL:

• Essential and security cookies are strictly necessary for the service and are set without requiring separate consent, because they are required to deliver the service you request.
• We set no non-essential cookies. If we ever introduce analytics or any other non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent through the cookie notice before it is set, and you will be free to decline or to change your mind at any time.

Because only essential and security cookies are in use, there is no non-essential category to decline, and no core feature of QuotesDone depends on that choice.

4. Managing and Disabling Cookies

You can control cookies in several ways:

• Read the cookie notice shown on your first visit. It records that you have seen it; there is no non-essential category to switch off, because none is set.
• Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies, or to warn you before cookies are stored. Most browsers allow this through their privacy or settings menu.
• Use your device or browser's controls for local storage and similar technologies.

Please note that blocking essential or security cookies may stop parts of the platform from working, including sign-in, request submission and paid reveals.

• Our payment processor, Stripe, which may set cookies or use similar technologies to process card and Apple Pay payments securely and to prevent payment fraud during the reveal and payment flows.

These third parties process data under their own terms and policies and, where they act for us, under written instructions. We share only what is needed for the relevant service. We encourage you to review the privacy and cookie notices of any third-party services you interact with through the platform.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in applicable law. The current version is always available on our platform, and the effective date will be updated when we make changes.
